Nike "Leave Nothing" fiddle music rules!

Have you all seen the new Nike "Leave Nothing" commericals? If so - can you tell me where the music came from? I know...I recognized it right away...just curious if anyone else did as well.

"The Last of the Mohicans."

Great soundtrack - I recognize it instantly as well, and songs from it (not necessarily this track) have been used as background music more often than you might think in commercials and, if I'm not mistaken, in a few NFL highlight sequences that I've seen.

Not surprised that you recalled that Brian. What is more surprising is your entry into the world of embedding. Congrats! :-)

When I first heard it, I was thinking that it was a nice contrast to the constant motion and impact of the video, and then I thought I had heard it before. One of my guesses was Last of the Mohicans, but mainly because you asked the question, Brian. Dee's guess was "Braveheart."

More specifically, was the song "Promontory?" There are some more appropriate track names for this spot, like "Ambush" or "Ascent / Pursuit."

The song was indeed "Promontory." The one I've heard used most before for the purposes of sports commercials/highlights is "Fort Battle."

Okay - so I'm a blogging idiot. I kept checking back at this thing after I posted it to see if anyone gave a crap about the fiddle music in this commercial and because I didn't see any posting, I just figured I was being ignored. Then...today...I saw the little maroon letters..."3 comments"...and the light bulb went off in my head...another blogging milestone! Is there a name for inept bloggers like me? - floggers? cluster-floggers? dumbass-oggers? Anyway - I'm glad that Jarod new it, and Ben guessed it by association. Ben - whenever I heard this music it takes me back to the days at Pomperaug running around the woods dressed up like a Iroquois. Perhaps I will share this with Billy. Anyway - comments on posts..incredible!
