I can't believe they did it. I was wrong many times on draft day (Brees, Bears D come to mind), but I'm glad to be wrong about this. The Phillies are alive and well!
Now the Eagles need to complete the NYC beatdown tonight.
Just freaking great. Now I have to listen to whiny Phillies fans for another week(s). The lead story on the news will be about the fans who will be taking a header off the Ben Franklin if the Phillies don't pull it out. That will be followed by a parade of dudes born in 1981 who just want to see the Phillies win one before they die.
Listen up Phillie fan, we all know how this will end. Just like this, or this.
