I guess that line would work better if you could see my thumbs.
I don't know whom I owe the bigger apology: the Chargers for my complete (but not totally unwarranted) lack of faith in them or Chris for the fact that I still somehow squeaked out a victory that I clearly do not deserve.
Is there some sort of clause that if a team has 5 bench players who outscore their 10 starters, they automatically forfeit the game? There should be. I'll take the win, but I am completely disgusted with myself.

I challenge you for this title this week! Jerry Porter over Braylon Edwards??? Clearly a computer error was made...As Ben as my witness I screamed like a woman when he informed me that I had NOT in fact started Edwards...IDIOT! Now I have to half-heartedly root for Brett Favre tomorrow night...or at least root for Greg Jennings to be on the recieving end of any Favre passes! Oh cruel world!
If it makes you feel any better, as of 30 minutes before kickoff for early games, I had Rivers, Gates, and Galloway (a combined 47 points) in my lineup and voluntarily switched them for Garcia, Chambers, and Clark (a combined 15 points). Taking my poor decisions with the early games (Kitna and Clark especially) as a sign that ALL my picks would be bad, I desperately tried to put Rivers and Galloway back in shortly before the kickoff of the late games only to receive an error message from Yahoo saying that I couldn't make those moves. Apparently it was too late. Indecision is a wonderful thing. Thnk your lucky stars I'm not a surgeon.

Cruel?
Cruel is me celebrating Favre's game ending bomb, which put me over the top, if not for the fact that Jennings hauled it in.
The irony of my pre-game statement is amazing! Is that irony? Whatever it is/was...I'm a lucky bastard! If you ask her nicely, Heather will impersonate my response to the game winning TD at this years New Years party. Sorry Brian...but I'd rather be lucky than smart.
